Basic Islamick Spiritualism Teachings

1) Loving, Caring and Adopting Orphans
This is the most important point in Islam holy Prophet stressed it a lot to love and care Orphans, u can find hundreds of hadiths on loving Orphans adopting, but we've forgot all. guys if every signle couple adopt a child there wont be any orphan left.

Children who have lost a parent are at a great disadvantage; they feel deprived and different from others. Some are so unfortunate as to lose both parents and consequently are all by themselves, almost helpless.

Muslims are to be very sensitive to the needs of the orphans and their support; to give help and assistance whenever and wherever possible. The orphans may need care until they become independent. During those years, they need advice, direction, support, and love like other children. Their possessions need protection and supervision as well. Therefore, orphans and widows are to have extra care, protection, advice and supervision, all for the sake of the Almighty and humanity. The effort in their support is what the Prophet describes as 'A struggle in the way of God,' which is a very noble end in itself."

Abu Hurairah (R.A.) reports that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) stated

"Whoever caresses the head of an orphan (in affection), solely for the sake of Allah, a good deed will be written to his account for every hair over which he passed his hand, and whoever treated an orphan (boy or girl) with goodness and kindness, he and I will be close to each-other in Heaven as these two fingers"

I And The Person Who Brings Up An Orphan Will Be Like This In Heavens; And He Put His Index And Middle Finger Together.

Have You Seen The One Who Denies Religion? It Is He Who Turns Away The Orphan And Does

Not Urge Others To Feed The Poor....

(Surah 107: Ayah 1-3)

And As To The Orphans, Restore Their Property (When They Reach Their Age), Don't Substitute Your Bad Things For Their Good Ones, And Devour Not Their Funds (By Mixing It Up) With Your Own;

For Of A Certainty This Is A Great Sin.

(Surah 4: Ayah 2)

And They Feed, For The Love Of Allah, The Indigent, The Orphan, And The Captives, Saying: We Feed You For Allah's Sake: No Reward Do We Seek From You Nor Thanks.

(Surah 76: Ayah 8-9)

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) once said that a person who cares for an orphaned child will be in Paradise with him, and motioned to show that they would be as close as two fingers of a single hand. An orphan himself, Muhammad (PBUH) paid special attention to the care of children. He himself adopted a former slave and raised him with the same care as if he were his own son.

Would you like your heart to soften and Allah subhaanahuwata`aalaa to answer your prayers?

A man once came to the Messenger of Allah, sallallaahu`alaihiwasallam

, and complained that he feels hardness in his heart. The Messenger of Allah said, what translated means, "Would you like that your heart becomes soft and that you acquire what you need? Be merciful with the orphan, pat his head and feed him from what you eat. This will soften your heart, and enable you to get what you need." [At-Tabaraanee & As-Silsilah as-Saheehah]

Would you like Allah Subhanahuwata`alaa to remove one of your griefs on the Day of Judgment?

"Whoever removes a worldly grief from a believer, Allah will remove from him one of the griefs of the Day of Judgment" [Saheeh Muslim]

Would you like to be in the eternal Jannah with our beloved Prophet and the best of creation, sallallaahu`alaihiwasallam?

"I and the caretaker of the orphan will enter Paradise together like this, raising (by way of illustration) his forefinger and middle finger jointly, leaving no space in between." [Saheeh al-Bukhaari]

Caring , marrying Widows and helpless women
you can get example from Holy Prophet (SAWS)'s first marriage.

The Prophet said "The one who looks after and works for a widow and for a poor person, is like a warrior fighting for Allah's Cause or like a person who fasts during the day and prays all the night." Narrated Abu Huraira that the Prophet said as above. Volume 8, Book 73, Number 35 Source

Loving Nature
The earth has been made for all the creatures that inhabit it and thus they are given their due rights by Islam.

And the earth hath He appointed for (His) creatures. – [Quran 55:10]

In this respect as Ibn Umar said; “I heard the Messenger of Allah, May Allah Bless Him and grant him peace, say, whoever mutilates a living creature and then does not repent, Allah will mutilate him on the Day of Judgment”

It says in another hadeeth which was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbaas that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Do not use anything in which there is a soul as a target.” (Narrated by Muslim, 1957).

‎"He who is not merciful to others, will not be treated mercifully" Narrated by Jarir bin Abdullah. Volume 8 book73, number 42

"A Good deed done to a beast is as good as doing to a human being , while a act of cruelty to a beast is as hard as an act of cruelty to human beings" Mishkat Al-Masabih book 6 8-178

While the animal rights were being laid down by Allah(swt) through Prophet Muhammad(saw), the Prophet(saw) also narrated an incident regarding a woman who imprisoned a cat and made it starve to death.

Narated By 'Abdullah bin 'Umar : Allah's Apostle said, "A lady was punished because of a cat which she had imprisoned till it died. She entered the (Hell) Fire because of it, for she neither gave it food nor water as she had imprisoned it, nor set it free to eat from the vermin of the earth." – [Bukhari Vol.4, Book 56, #689]

Narated By Anas bin Malik: The Prophet said, "If any Muslim plants any plant and a human being or an animal eats of it, he will be rewarded as if he had given that much in charity." – [Bukhari Vol. 8, Book 73, #41] Even if an animal eats from a plant which has been planted by man, the person will receive rewards for it.

We sent thee not, but as a Mercy for all creatures. – [Quran 21:107]

Narated By Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "While a man was walking on a road. he became very thirsty. Then he came across a well, got down into it, drank (of its water) and then came out. Meanwhile he saw a dog panting and licking mud because of excessive thirst. The man said to himself "This dog is suffering from the same state of thirst as I did." So he went down the well (again) and filled his shoe (with water) and held it in his mouth and watered the dog. Allah thanked him for that deed and forgave him." The people asked, "O Allah's Apostle! Is there a reward for us in serving the animals?" He said, "(Yes) There is a reward for serving any animate (living being)." – [Bukhari Vol. 8, Book 73, #38] & [Muslim Book 26, Chapter 39, # 5577]

Narated By Salim: That Ibn 'Umar disliked the branding of animals on the face. Ibn 'Umar said, "The Prophet forbade beating (animals) on the face." – [Bukhari Vol.7, Book 67, #449] & [Muslim Book 24, Chapter 21, #5281]

Narated By Ibn ‘Umar: The Prophet cursed the one who did Muthla to an animal (i e., cut its limbs or some other part of its body while it is still alive). – [Bukhari Vol. 7, Book 67, #424]

Narated By Hisham bin Zaid: Anas and I went to Al-Hakam bin Aiyub. Anas saw some boys shooting at a tied hen. Anas said, "The Prophet has forbidden the shooting of tied or confined animals." – [Bukhari Vol. 7, Book 67, #421; #422]
